How Donations Will Be Used:
- 24/7 holistic care for children in vulnerable circumstances
- Business training, mentorship & in-kind support for families in our Business Launch Program
- Access to high-quality education, daily nutritious meals, and school supplies
- Agricultural training through the Gatehouse Transition Program
- Community care efforts, including access to clean water and sanitation, Covid-19 relief efforts, and access to medical care
- Promotion of the health and growth of the local church
At Help One Now, our mission is to empower families in developing countries through high-capacity local leaders with proven solutions to end extreme poverty. We do this through holistic, restorative community care, providing access to high-quality education, and helping families create sustainability through our Businesses Launch Program.
Help One Now partners with brilliant and faithful local leaders already working effectively in their respective communities through friendship and partnership. These leaders are pastors, community development experts, team builders, and co-laborers for Christ on the journey to end poverty. They are our greatest resource, and without them, sustainable change is impossible.

Local Leadership
John Chinyowa
Pastor John is the Pastor of Family Praise Fellowship Church in Marondera, Zimbabwe, and the leader who inspired Chris Marlow to start Help One Now years ago. Pastor John, his wife Orpah, and his church oversee Musha We Vana Children’s Home caring for over 45 vulnerable children. John is an incredible team-builder and he has the best laugh you have ever heard. We are currently partnering with Pastor John in Marondera to provide quality care and education for the children of Musha We Vana, restorative community care, and the Family Business Program.
