We had an opportunity to see the amazing work that Help One Now is doing firsthand in Peru. We were blown away by how God is not only moving in the lives of individuals but in the whole family. Watching kids hear the gospel at school, moms show up for bible studies, and new family businesses thrive allowed us to see how God was meeting the physical and spiritual needs of that community. We are excited about how our partnership with Help One Now will allow communities in need to flourish and hear the good news of Jesus Christ in the years to come.

We partner with Help One Now because we believe in the power of empowerment. Through our partnership, we get an incredible front-row seat to see God at work in and through phenomenal local leaders as they empower their communities to thrive and flourish. We get to see transformative and lasting change taking place, changing the trajectory of the lives of thousands of children and families around the world. But we get to be more than just viewers of this amazing work, we get to be doers. For our church, being a part of the Help One Now family has meant having the opportunity to be active participants through advocacy, financial support, sponsorships, learning journeys, and so much more. We are extremely thankful for this partnership and for the opportunity to play a part in ending extreme poverty and building a better world.

There are a lot of things we look for when partnering with a global mission organization. We want to make sure that there are strong relational ties with local, on-the-ground leaders in the country we feel called to. We want to make sure that the local Church is being empowered. We want to make sure that families are being served and that dignity is upheld. We want to make sure it’s a true partnership… an authentic back-and-forth. We want to make sure there are strong financial accountability structures in place. Getting to know Help One Now, we found that all of our ‘boxes’ were checked. We love what God is doing through our partnership with Help One Now.

Finding a good partner, one I trust to guide us as a church and establish a lasting relationship with, can be difficult. From the beginning, I could tell something was different about Help One Now. Help One Now comes alongside gifted, high-capacity, talented people and listens to them to find out what their communities need. The more I learn about Help One Now, the more I trust this organization and its work. I am so thankful for this partnership and the impact of Help One Now on our church and around the world.
