About Help One Now Trips
All Help One Now Trips are built to connect our partners and donors to the communities we serve through the building of relationships with local leaders, experiencing the beauty and adventure each country holds and participating in intentional guided times of rest and reflection. We want you to return home from these trips with a renewed heart, mind, and soul, as well as a vision and passion for how we can work together to do good around the world!

Trip Cost
$800 Per Person
Below is a rough breakdown of all trip costs. The total cost of your trip covers all traveling expenses other flights. This includes lodging, meals, transportation, medical insurance, and special experiences on your trip! The only things not covered in this cost are personal money for things like souvenirs or any extra needs while on the trip.

Belize City Hotel: $175/night
Transportation: $15/day
Meals: $50/day
Mayan Ruins Visit: $20
Medical evacuation insurance: $5/day

Trip Schedule
This trip will be quick and packed full of amazing experiences! We have carefully planned your trip to make the most of your time while also building in time for rest and reflection. Your trip will be focused on building relationships with our local partners and witnessing the impact of their work first-hand. It will also include time to see and experience some of the incredible beauty, history, and culture of Belize.
Wednesday 4/23
Arrive in Belize City
Late lunch/snacks in town, meet Julie and Nigel and hear their story
Have families from the Family Business Program come and share at the center
Dinner at the hotel
Stay at Fort George Hotel
Thursday 4/24
Breakfast and morning reflection time at the hotel
Visit the Water Walkers center and see it in action, meet kids in the program
Visit families in the Family Business Program at their businesses
Lunch in town
See the after-school program at the center
Visit Altun Ha Mayan ruins and visit the Herbert family (a family empowered through the program)
Dinner in town
Stay at Fort George Hotel
Friday 4/25
Take the ferry to Caye Caulker (about a 1.5 hour boat ride)
Full day to relax at the beach and explore Caye Caulker
Dinner and final debrief at the hotel
Stay at Fort George Hotel
Saturday 4/26
Breakfast and final time together with Julie and Nigel out at their property
