Help One Now // ETHIOPIA

We have an exciting announcement to make… We have officially launched Help One Now ETHIOPIA!  We have been dreaming about and planning our work in Ethiopia for quite some time, and now everything is in place to begin our Ethiopia Child Sponsorship Program, and eventually more community development work with local leaders.

The Partnership

We gave you the BACKGROUND for this new program a few weeks ago.  In short, we will be partnering with The Kidmia Foundation and local leader Aschalew Abebe to develop leaders, care for orphans and vulnerable children, and transform communities.

How You Can Help

Our initial goal is to sponsor 25 kids, soon. These kids are classified as vulnerable children; therefore, within our model, we will do 2x’s sponsorships for each child.  25 kids—50 sponsorships.  Ultimately, our hope is to ensure that these kids do not become orphans; rather, we want them to stay with their families, have access to health care and proper nutrition and attend school. Under the local leadership that Kidmia has established, we believe that these children can overcome poverty if they have a good foundation. Child sponsorship provides that foundation.
