About Help One Now Trips
All Help One Now Trips are built to connect our partners and donors to the communities we serve through the building of relationships with local leaders, witnessing what God is doing in our partner communities, experiencing the beauty each country holds, and participating in intentional guided times of prayer and reflection. We want you to return home from these trips with a renewed heart, mind, and soul, as well as a vision and passion for how we can work together to build the Kingdom!

Trip Cost
$2,150 Per Person
Below is a rough breakdown of all trip costs, plus the work your fundraiser will support in the Dominican Republic. Some costs, such as flights, are subject to change at the time of booking. The total cost of your trip covers all traveling expenses, including flights, lodging, meals, transportation, and medical insurance. The only things not covered in this cost are personal money for things like souvenirs or any extra needs while on the trip.
This cost also covers Help One Now’s expenses in administering and leading this trip and investing in our local partners’ work as they take time out to host and care for us on our journey!

Tentative Trip Schedule
This trip will be packed full of amazing experiences! We have carefully planned this trip to make the most of your time while also building in time for rest and reflection. Your trip will be focused on building relationships with our local partners and witnessing the Kingdom impact of their work first-hand. It will also include time to see and experience some of the incredible beauty, history, and culture of the Dominican Republic.
Wednessday 4/22
Arrive in Santiago, travel to La Vega via van (~30 min)
Meet local leader Rod Davis and take time to hear his story and vision
Dinner and intro to trip meeting at guesthouse. This will be a time of getting to know Help One Now and laying out expectations for the week and how we can make the most of our time together
Thursday 4/23
Breakfast and a guided morning reflection time
Tour Help One Now’s partner schools and hear about how education has empowered the community, time in classrooms with students
Tour our medical clinics and aquaponics farm, learn about the vision future community provision and support
Lunch at a local family’s home
Visit the water treatment facility and learn how it contributes toward the overall mission of community empowerment
Dinner and downtime with Rod and his team at the guesthouse
Friday 4/24
Breakfast and a guided morning reflection time
Visit families in the Family Business Program and see their businesses in action
Visit our Haitian church partner and hear about their ministry
Time of serving the community with the local church
Dinner at the guesthouse
Downtime with Rod and his team
Saturday 4/25
Breakfast and a guided morning reflection time
Hear from other leaders about their stories and how they are serving the community, time to pray together
Visit Salto Jimenoa waterfall in the mountains outside of La Vega
Have dinner at a nice traditional Dominican restaurant
Downtime with Rod and his team
Sunday 4/26
Breakfast and a guided morning reflection time
Church service at one of our local community church partners
Travel back home in the afternoon
