The picture above tells the story of why we get so stressed when a storm comes close to Haiti. An estimated 1.5 million people live in tents right now in Haiti. These folks are scared to leave their tents because they may not be able to return. It’s a mixed-bag filled with complexities as land owners want these folks off their land, yet these people have no where else to go!

Many will stay in their tents and endure the storm – which could be dangerous!

Our partner, Pastor St Cyr started a church and a school in the tent city pictured above. In partnership with Pastor St Cyr, we run a sponsorship project with 100 kids that live in this tent city. We love these kids and this community!

Please join us in prayer for now! If the storm does major damage, we will be ready to act and help in anyway possible!

Thanks,

Chris
