Mike Rusch currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Pure Charity, a nonprofit dedicated to building world class technology solutions for Nonprofit Organizations, Individual Fundraising, and Community Advocacy. Prior to Pure Charity, Mike worked for Nickelodeon, The Walt Disney Company, Hershey Foods, and served in the US Marine Corps. Mike is a husband of 20 years, father of 4, a lover of a great story, and never too far from a fly-fishing river.
DR. ADAM MAASS
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Stephanie, for 23 years. We have five girls. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, but now love it here in the South. I am a follower of Jesus, humbly saved only by His grace. I am privileged to be able to work as a physician here in the US and all over the world.
Seth Haines is a working stiff who is lucky enough to call the Ozark Mountains home. I am blessed to be the husband of Amber Haines and the father of four boys. I enjoy good sentences, good music, good food, and good fly fishing. I pen my notions regarding faith, creativity, marriage, culture, and whatever else strikes me as word-worthy. I hope you’ll follow along.
Korie Robertson is best known as a star of A&E’s hit television show Duck Dynasty, but she is also a New York Times bestselling author and oversees the Robertson family’s licensing opportunities. Korie has joined us on #LoveHope trips to Ethiopia and Haiti.
Charles Lee is the Founder & CEO at Ideation, an idea-execution company that specializes in helping brands scale their business by effectively integrating their strategic plans into day-to-day implementation. He is also the author of Good Idea. Now What? How to Move Ideas to Execution, a practical book designed to help people move ideates to implementation.
Lindsey Nobles as worked across the for-profit, non-profit, and ministry sectors in Event Planning and Management, Marketing, Merchandising, Communications, Development and Operations. Lindsey currently heads up Marketing and Business Development for Onsite, the world-wide leader in personal growth and therapeutic workshops.
David and his wife Amie fell in love with the Ethiopian culture during a 2011 trip to Ethiopia with friend Scott Brown. God put it on the Simpson’s hearts to obey James 1:27 and do their part to help take care of orphans. David served as Kidmia’s U.S. Executive Director from 2011 to 2015. David and Amie have three biological children and an adopted son from Ethiopia.
Mike Hensley is a partner at a large financial services firm after owning his own firm for 9 years. He lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife, three daughters, and three labradoodles. He serves on the board for a couple of other charities focused on helping children and their families locally, and is thrilled to expand his efforts globally with Help One Now. Mike has seen the work of Help One Now and our local leaders first hand in both Haiti and Peru.
BOARD MEMBER, CEO/FOUNDER
In 2007, Chris Marlow met a starving young orphan living in an abandoned gas station in Zimbabwe. That encounter compelled him to start Help One Now and dedicate his life to seeking justice by empowering leaders and organizing tribes to launch global movements that do good. He currently lives in downtown Raleigh with his wife, two daughters and his German Shepherd pup.
