CoM Dominican Republic Trip

June 12-16, 2023

Kick off your summer with an experience you’ll carry with you for a lifetime. CoM is partnering with Help One Now to lead a teen + family trip to the Dominican Republic. We will use this trip as an opportunity to activate our faith while learning from and witnessing what God is doing through T.E.A.R.S., Help One Now’s Dominican-led partner.

The purpose of this trip is to engage teens and parents in meaningful experiences that challenge us to radically belong to our global siblings and to practice a faith rooted in the prospect of a more beautiful world. We will spend time in authentic relationship with the T.E.A.R.S. team while sharing meals and witnessing their work. We will also spend time each day intentionally processing our experience and falling in love with the beauty and adventure of the Dominican Republic. Our hope is that you return from this trip with a vision and passion for how we can work together to do good around the world!

Trip Cost

$1,750 Per Person

CoM teens and parents will rally around education, fundraising, and advocacy efforts in the months leading up to the trip as well as the months following the trip. There will also be opportunities before and after this trip for the entire CoM teen group to fundraise, learn, and process together.

Below is a rough breakdown of all trip costs, plus the work your fundraiser will support in the Dominican Republic. Some costs, such as flights, are subject to change at the time of booking. The total cost of your trip covers all traveling expenses including flights, lodging, meals, transportation, medical insurance, and your return Covid test. The only things not covered in this cost are personal money for things like souvenirs or any extra needs while on the trip.

This cost also covers Help One Now’s expenses in administering and leading this trip, as well as investing in the work of our local partners as they take time out to host and care for us on our journey!
