I wanted to share with you a quick update on our Christmas Fundraiser Campaign. First of all, we’ve reached our initial goal of $1500. I’m so thankful to all the people who gave, prayed and hosted parties. It means so much!
However, we’ve decided to up-the-ante and raise more funds. You can learn why reading this blog post, or watching the video above. (You may have to click through if you don’t see the video).
Our hope is to purchase chickens for Musha Wevana Children’s Home, so the kids can eat eggs and meat for protein. We desire to create something that is sustainable for the locals. Basically, this is no longer a short-term call for help, but a long-term need that will be met.
As of now, if we’re going to reach our goal, we need to raise $1500 before the end of the month. I know we can do it!
Let me share some stories with you:
1. Friday night, our friends in Austin had a Christmas Party, they raised over $300 for the Christmas Fundraiser. Yes!!!
2. A church in Delaware took a love offering, and raised over a $1000.
3. We’ve had multiple one-time donations of $25; $50; $100 and $250. Anything helps!
4. We’ve also had some kids sponsored through this fundraising initiative. How awesome is that?
So, we still have over two weeks to raise the remainder of the funds. We need your help. Donate, and share our needs to your friends, family and social media sites. I know we can do this, we can help feed 100 kids for 1 year!
You can donate via Paypal, just click here. (In case you don’t see the PayPal graphic)
Again, thank you for helping us bring hope to 100 kids in Zimbabwe!
PS: I’m trying to learn a new program for our digital newsletters. If you received two newsletters, well, you were supposed to receive the first newsletter two weeks ago. The subject line is TEST, Sorry!
