We’re so excited for this announcement. Lamar and Jill have been a huge blessing to us and our leaders in Haiti. They serve with grace and humility and they’re deeply committed to advancing God’s Kingdom in Austin and across the globe.

=======
I’m a doting husband to Jill Stockton and a proud father of Tyler (5) and Tori (2). I’m a musician and pastor living in Austin, TX, and a grateful child of God.
Sixteen months ago, Jill and I took our first trip to Haiti with Help One Now. It was our first time to use a passport…our first time to need a shot to go somewhere…and our first time to witness extreme poverty. Those eight days have changed every day since.
I’ve been back to Haiti six times, fallen in love with the people, and fostered a burden to learn about responsible, long-term development. In February, I became part of the Help One Now team as the Garage Sale 4 Orphans coordinator, and a trip leader for our pilgrimages to Haiti. Today, I am both honored and humbled to announce that I have accepted the position of International Development Director.
As Help One Now grows and our partnerships and programs expand, we want to make sure that the work we are doing and the relationships we are building are lasting and effective. I will be working hard to make this a reality by overseeing all of our projects in Haiti, Zimbabwe and Uganda; by increasing communication with our leaders on the ground and our Help One Now tribe; by continually learning and reevaluating our development strategies; and by deepening our relationships with our local leaders who we love and trust.
I’m excited and committed to working alongside the rest of the Help One Now team to see God’s Kingdom expand in this broken world.
grace + peace

Hey Lamar, congratulations and I will be praying for you and your family. I am involved in the Uganda sponsorship program through HELP and I would love to personally introduce you to Pastor Edward on our next trip in June 2013. Peace and blessings, Chris
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
I can’t channel the Will nor the Voice nor the Decree of the Lord. But, where I believe I have witnessed His delight, I will do my best to make mention. Thus, I say to you that you surely must hear His aforementioned words in your ear, with every step along this journey.
Lamar, you are a strong pillar in your family, a loving husband and a devoted father…in addition to being a relevant and tangible expression of the Gospel in the lives of strangers and friends, a beacon to those who are both near and far from the path God has lain out for them.
Thus, to you and your endeavors, I say, “Godspeed.”
Awesome news! Congratulations Lamar, Jill and family.
Very excited to have you serving in this role brother! Excited for our partners & work on the ground.
Help one has taken grabbed a great man with a great family. I see some HelpOne v-neck swag in the furture…..
Wonderful news! Praying for your work, and the changes ahead.
