These men are hard at work — for good, living wages — building the new girls home!
We’re excited to announce that, thanks to your generosity, we have broken ground on a new girls dormitory at His Mercy School in Mayuge, Uganda!
This means two things: first, 16 workers will have good employment! They’ll be earning a fair, living wage and be able to provide for their families. Secondly, 60 girls will have a safe, secure place to live, study, and just call home. Most of these girls wouldn’t have the opportunity to get access to this life-changing education without this new dormitory, so you’re not only giving these girls a home–you’re helping foster their future as well!
