We have an amazing opportunity to share with you!

Starting tonight, Sept. 1, the Minnesota Twins will be promoting Help One Now—specifically our Help One Classroom initiative— in the stadium during their homestand against the Chicago White Sox. In addition, they will consistently highlight Help One Now through the entire month of September! The Twins will also match the donations up to $5,000, which means that we should be able to fund at least 4 classrooms – maybe many more!

The Help One Classroom initiative raises money to pay a living wage to teachers in Haiti and Uganda. It also gives the opportunity for those teachers to receive training throughout the year and provides classroom supplies like textbooks, pencils, paper, and anything else local students need to succeed in their studies.

This fantastic opportunity came about through our relationship with our friend Blaine Boyer.  Blaine, who is a relief pitcher for the Twins, came with us to Haiti last January. He fell in love with our kids and leaders there, and he’s been a partner with us ever since.
