HELP ONE CLASSROOM
We are currently supporting 82 classrooms around the world by providing fair wages, training, & classroom supplies for teachers, as well as hot meals for students.
And through that support, the futures of over 3,000 students each school year are directly affected!
We are currently partnering with 6 preschools, 9 primary schools, and 3 secondary schools in Haiti, Peru, and Uganda.
These schools have become some of the top schools in their region thanks to the consistency and quality of teachers made possible by Help One Classroom.
As education transforms communities and breaks the cycle of extreme poverty, opportunity & hope flourish in entire regions. A good teacher makes a world of difference; help change the world of a teacher today!
Education saves children’s lives, promotes girl’s and women’s rights, and makes people healthier.
KEY TO THE FUTURE
Boosts economic growth. Reduces poverty. Increases income.
THE REALITY OF EDUCATION AROUND THE WORLD
- Uganda: Drop out rate 75%. Pupil teacher ratio 48 to 1 (The ratio is 13 to 1 in the United States).
- Haiti: Public schools only cover 20% of basic education demand.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP?
Consider supporting a classroom with a one-time gift of $3,000 or monthly installments of $250.
You could also find 5 friends and each invest a one-time gift of $500 or monthly installments of $41.67.
Help us identify a school, classroom, or a group of teachers who will join together to give a one time gift or host a fundraiser to support a classroom.
You get the idea; there are countless ways to gather the funds to help these teachers and their classrooms.
We need to raise $250,000 in 2018 to be prepared for the 2019 school year! This support includes teacher salaries, training, classroom supplies, & meals for students.
$3,000 provides all necessities for ONE classroom for ONE year!
